The BENEO-Orafti Sales & Marketing Department is looking for a 

Sales Assistant 

Function:

Provide support and assistance to the Sales Department:

Assist 2 sales managers

  • Take care of travel arrangements
  • Single point of contact with regard to queries and requests from distributors
  • Prepare and/or finalize (PowerPoint) presentations
  • Maintain CRM database
  • Prepare client file in view of customer visits and input conclusions of visits into CRM
  • Personal assistance to sales managers: execute tasks delegated by sales managers
  • Produce monthly reports: gather all relevant information and figures and take all necessary actions in order to produce the monthly sales report according to a preset or defined framework, and assuring quality and reliability of the data.
  • Prepare price quotations according to input given by sales managers, assuring quality check and reliability of the data.

Assist the sales support team

  • Take end – responsibility for incoming telephone calls in a service-minded and client-oriented manner
  • Handle request for information and items such as brochures, samples, certificates, gifts,... Take all necessary actions in order to finalize and or follow up these tasks.
  • All-round administrative – secretarial support to the sales team.
  • Parcels: order and follow up on DHL dispatching and prepare parcels to be sent. Also reception incoming parcels.
  • Meetings, fairs and customer visits: provide logistic support in the organization of (internal) meetings and training courses. Book and prepare meeting rooms, restaurants, travel and hotel arrangements, transport, catering,….

Profile:

  • High school or bachelor profile
  • Linguistic skills: fluent in French , Dutch and English
  • Computer-literate: advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Able to produce spreadsheets, pivot tables, graphs.
  • Excellent Time Management: well organized and able to set priorities in order to meet deadlines
  • Analytical: figure-minded and ability to analyze data
